The 93rd China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF) and its series of exhibitions will be held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) from April 9 to 12. As the world’s largest exhibition for the medical device industry chain, this year’s event focuses on cutting-edge industry technologies and international trade cooperation, boasting a total exhibition area of over 320,000 square meters. It gathers nearly 5,000 brand enterprises from more than 20 countries and regions worldwide, and is expected to attract over 200,000 professional visitors and purchasers from 150 countries and regions.
Cutting-Edge Medical Tech Showcases
Flagship Innovations Across Key Fields
The 93rd CMEF series will showcase groundbreaking products across cutting-edge fields including AI-enabled healthcare, gene sequencing, cancer screening, surgical robots, embodied intelligence, brain-computer interfaces, wearables, and digital therapeutics. Renowned domestic and international industry leaders such as United Imaging Healthcare, GE Healthcare, Siemens Healthineers, Philips Healthcare, Mindray Medical, and China National Pharmaceutical Medical Device Co., Ltd. will all debut their flagship new products.

Medical Robots: Precision & Diversification
The exhibition features a full range of robots across medical, surgical, industrial, rehabilitation and elderly care categories. Various multimodal surgical robots are expanding into the ultra-minimally invasive fields such as single-port and natural orifice surgery; orthopedic surgical robot clusters cover the full spectrum of orthopedic procedures including joint replacement, spinal surgery and trauma treatment; high-precision interventional robots for hyper-specialized fields like cardiovascular intervention and neurosurgery will demonstrate “millimeter-level” surgical accuracy. A variety of new medical robot products equipped with “digital-intelligent brains”, “digital-intelligent eyes” and “digital-intelligent hands” will make their debuts at the fair.
Future Tech Zone: Human-Machine Integration
The Future Technology Zone will focus on brain science, embodied intelligence and innovative achievements from universities and research institutions. It will showcase cutting-edge products such as AD MRI AI-aided diagnosis systems, brain-computer interface systems for cognitive impairment assessment and training, brain-controlled wheelchairs, exoskeleton robots, automatic eye sign measuring instruments, and AI electronic nasopharyngoscope-aided diagnosis systems, fully presenting the infinite possibilities of human-machine intelligence integration.

Medical Aesthetics: Medical + Consumer Integration
The Medical Aesthetics Zone in Hall 5.2 focuses on the integration trend of “medical care+consumption”, displaying precision energy equipment such as picosecond/ultra-picosecond lasers and radio frequency therapeutic apparatus, biomaterials including hyaluronic acid fillers and recombinant human type Ⅲ collagen, as well as digital medical aesthetics solutions integrated with AI skin detection. It aims to drive the development of the medical aesthetics industry toward compliance, precision and long-term effectiveness.
Smart Hospital: Asset Management Upgrade
The Hospital Equipment Asset Management Zone builds the “data core” of smart hospitals. Through intelligent sensing, a full-life-cycle management platform and standardized service processes, it realizes the transformation of medical equipment from “fixed assets” to “efficiency engines”, and constructs a complete path for the next-generation smart management system.

Global Cooperation & International Zone

As the world’s largest exhibition for the medical device industry chain, the International Zone will welcome exhibitors from more than 20 countries and regions including the United States, Germany, South Korea, Japan, the United Kingdom, France, Sweden, Poland, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, Italy, India, Russia, Switzerland, Indonesia, Vietnam, Pakistan and Turkey, all bringing their global new products to the exhibition.
Novel Product Pavilion: Global Tech Achievements
The organizer has set up the “Novel Product Pavilion” on-site, which centrally displays cutting-edge medical technology achievements from various countries in in vitro diagnosis, operating rooms, surgery, respiratory anesthesia and critical care, diagnostic monitoring, medical consumables, digital health and AI solutions.
Upgraded “We” Series International Events
The newly upgraded “We” series of international brand events will feature the “WeTalk Stage”, attracting representatives from consulates of various countries, authoritative industry associations and multinational enterprises to deliver speeches, providing in-depth interpretations of global cutting-edge technology trends and new directions of industrial policies in various countries. The “WeMatch Hub”, designed to boost business cooperation, enables precise international matching and creates one-on-one negotiation scenarios for exhibitors and international buyers. Simultaneously, the “International WeTour” will be launched, offering customized exhibition tour services for international buyers to help them better understand exhibitors’ products.
3rd GHWP Innovative Medical Device Symposium
As a core platform for promoting the convergence, coordination and trust of global medical device regulation, the Global Harmonization Working Party (GHWP) has joined hands with CMEF to co-host the 3rd GHWP Innovative Medical Device Symposium. Focusing on three core themes: global access to innovative medical devices, interoperability of regulatory policies and implementation of international cooperation, the conference will gather global regulatory experts, industry leaders and enterprise representatives to promote the precise alignment of innovative achievements with international rules.

ASEAN Forum: Local Market Insights
This year’s CMEF specially curates the ASEAN Forum, where chairpersons of hospital associations from Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam and other countries will attend in person to release equipment upgrade plans and clinical application pain points, capturing market demands in a timely manner. Meanwhile, senior overseas distributors will interpret channel layout and localized cooperation strategies on-site, providing a one-stop guide from market access policies to commercial practice.
Medical Support for International Visitors
During the exhibition, CMEF will also cooperate with the international departments of several top hospitals to jointly create customized medical service programs, providing comprehensive medical security for international visitors coming to China.

Co-Located Exhibitions
ICMD: Upstream Supply Chain Core
ICMD, a core platform for the upstream supply chain of medical devices, will gather more than 800 enterprises to display core components such as intelligent manufacturing chips, high-end sensors and industrial robots.
