The global pandemic of COVID-19 is still ongoing and there is seemingly no end to it. Many people are infected every single day and unfortunately, many people die. In addition to ensuring social distance and protective measures such as masks and alcohol sanitization, the treatment of corpses is also very important for protection from the COVID-19 infection.
The most important point when handling COVID-19 or other infectious diseased corpses is to prevent contact infection from the corpse. Specifically, do not touch the body directly and do not touch the bodily fluids and blood generated from the body directly. A tightly closed, impermeable body bag helps minimize contact with the body.

The Ceremo Bag is an impermeable body bag that utilizes a patented functional three-layer structure film to prevent odors, viruses, body fluids, and blood from escaping and prevent virus infection from the body. It can protect the health workers and funeral workers who work from secondary infections from the corpses.
The original Ceremo Bag is intended to be used as a combination of an inner bag and an outer bag. It is a very airtight bag made of transparent material. This allows you to see the body from the outside of the bag without touching it directly.
The body can also be X-rayed or CT-scanned while safely in the bag.
When used in combination with an opaque outer bag, the corpse can be checked through the bag only when it is necessary to see off or confirm the identity. At other times, the opaque outer bag protects the privacy and keeps the body in place. It can easily be transported.
We are pleased to offer the NEW Ceremo Bag with six handles. This enables the use of the inner Ceremo Bag only, without an outer bag, and it can easily be transported “as it is.” When privacy is an issue, a sheet or other covering may be used.
Our recommended method of corpse management in the present COVID-19 situation is to place the corpse immediately after death into the Ceremo Bag, seal it and send it off to cremation without opening the bag. By using the Ceremo Bag, medical staff and funeral workers involved in the treatment of the body can be protected from secondary infections. The bereaved family can also safely see the deceased.
