The MoMe Kardia Approved

The MoMe Kardia by InfoBionic, which received clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in March, is a remote patient monitoring system designed to help detect cardiac arrhythmia.

It collects all ECG, respiration and movement data from the patient and continuously streams it via the Cloud to a physician portal for 24/7 access. Physicians can therefore analyze the data where and when they want, via the web as well as through iOS and Android apps. It confers workflow control and minimizes the administrative burden.

Physicians can also select the most relevant technology given patient needs and symptoms because the MomeKardia is a 3-in-1 product that includes Holter, event and MCT (mobile cardiac telemetry) technologies. This should facilitate faster diagnosis.

For the patient, the MoMe Kardia—worn at the belt or around the neck—reduces the time spent at follow-up visits.
