At the New Orleans EMS World Expo 2016 in early October, first aid product specialist Water-Jel Technologies presented its new professional burn care products.

Their first responder burn dressings are saturated with a new, odor-free, crystal-clear gel. According to the company website, the transparent gel allows more effective visual evaluation of the burn injury and its surrounding tissue. The dressings also contain a new, globally approved broad spectrum system with Mikrokill. The paraben-free preservative allows broad spectrum action against bacteria, yeasts, molds and fungus.

The new dressings are designed for the effective removal of excess heat from burn injuries. They can be used by emergency medical and rescue practitioners, both civilian and military.
