CNOGA Medical, developer and manufacturer of medical devices, launched its TensorTip MTX and VSM non-invasive multiple bio-parameter measurement devices at April’s CMEF Fair in Shanghai. The Chinese company had announced earlier the same month that the China Food and Drug Administration (CFDA) had approved both products.

The fingertip-mounted devices use a real-time color image sensor and unique algorithms to accurately measure more than a dozen physiological parameters. These include continuous blood pressure, pulse, blood oxygen saturation, hemoglobin, hematocrit and red blood cell count, all without the need for painful invasive blood sampling.

Based on photo analysis of capillary tissues, the devices can be combined with CNOGA’s mobile application and cloud-based services to provide healthcare professionals with easy access to medical data for disease management and remote monitoring.
