Brainlab Node changes preoperative planning

Anytime and anywhere are the keywords of Brainlab’s preoperative planning software, Node, that allows medical staff to work simultaneously on a single system from different locations.

Via a network, patient treatment plans can not only be accessed from any place in the hospital, but also from remote locations. Stationary computers are no longer needed for surgical planning due to the software’s compatibility with mobile devices such as notebooks and tablets, whether Windows or Mac.

These flexible solutions enable surgeons to review an operation plan at home, on the road, during the surgery or at the patient’s bedside.

As everyone works on the same platform, patient information is kept consistent, limiting treatment errors and facilitating follow-up care.
