BMB MEDICAL’s CLAVIA KIDS stretcher chair is designed for younger outpatients and complies with French Medical Safety Agency norms covering children up to 1.46 meters tall (4’ 9.5”). Nominated for an i-NOVO Design award at this year’s MEDICA trade fair, it can be ordered with optional transparent polycarbonate side rails decorated with juvenile motifs and a pediatric kit for the head end.

The all-electric unit optimizes space utilization by replacing medical beds in outpatient services. Digital actuators make possible four programmable positions—chair, gurney, CPR and Trendelenburg. Height and other adjustments are also electric. The corner bumpers include accessory trays, and the seat segment has two IV pole holders.

The list of options includes IV poles, double-wheel castors with central locking and protection cushions, among others. The French manufacturer says CLAVIA KIDS is conceived for both patient and staff comfort.
