Simply Insert the Test Tubes and Walk Away

ALCOR Scientific is introducing its new iSED technology. This fully-automated ESR system determines critical red blood cell kinetics in just 20 seconds and requires only a 100-microliter sample, ideal for pediatric and geriatric patients.

Traditional ESR test methods—manual and semi-automated—require graduated pipettes, special cuvettes, duplicate sample tubes or sample transfer disposables that significantly increase the cost and generate contaminated waste.

With iSED, up to 20 samples can be loaded simultaneously. Its automatic tube eject frees new sample positions every 20 seconds, so new samples can be inserted as they arrive in the lab. Test tubes in the output bin can be moved directly to the next testing station. The system has its own internal barcode reader that assures that all samples are correctly identified and tracked.
